,,Can I create visual art using nothing but code?”
My work revolves around adventures, landscapes, and experiences. I have drawn them (with pencils and markers), painted them (with paint), photographed them (with a digital camera), and visualized them in spatial installations, all physical forms of art.
But could I also create work in digital form? In its purest form: like in computer code?
Note: You can view the original works including the codes (in Processing.org) by clicking on the images.

Parts of the code are randomized. This means that a new landscape is created every time you click the ‘Run’ button.

“The weather is clear and sunny” (animation loop, 2022)

“Mountain Landscape Generator” (2023) / interactive work
A new mountain landscape is generated with every mouse click.

“Waves” (2022) / loop animation

“Universe Generator” (2022) / interactive work
With every mouse click a new universe is created

“Let it snow”, loop animation (2022)
